TransLogix to open an office in Tatarstan

TransLogix is going to cooperate in the republic with Tatarstan Export Corporation (TEC).

Issues of cooperation between Tatarstan Export Corporation and TransLogix discussed yesterday at a meeting in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. It was attended by TIDA Deputy Chief Executive Insaf Galiev, Head of Investment Promotion Wyatt Ford and Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev. Company CEO Arthur Yamalov and Deputy Project Director Dmitry Gimakson represented TransLogix’s interests.

During the meeting were presented the main directions of the Tatarstan Export Corporation functions. In particular, Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev noted that the objective is to increase the range of products that is exported from the republic and expanding the geography of sales. Both of these factors will make a significant impact on the volume of exported goods.

The parties discussed mutual interests and cooperation opportunities, as well as areas of collaborative work. TransLogix representatives told that to the end of this year company intends to open a representative office in the Republic of Tatarstan. This was announced at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Halikov, which was also attended by TIDA Deputy Chief Executive Insaf Galiyev. In a meeting with TIDA and TEC TransLogix management has expressed willingness to provide consulting assistance to TEC in customs and logistics issues.

At the end of the meeting the company was invited to V International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013). Arthur Yamalov claimed that the company will be glad to be an active participant in such an important event. TransLogix CEO underscored that company also plans to participate in the International Transport and Logistics Forum, which will take place in the capital of Tatarstan, on September 13-14.
