We need a public initiative!
More than a hundred employees of the republican authorities will master the practical application of public-private partnership mechanisms. A professional development program has been launched, organized by the AIR RT on the basis of the Higher School of State Medical University.
The listeners were previously offered a theoretical block. On September 15-16, they will have team work as part of a practical module on structuring PPP projects - from choosing the form of project implementation to its launch. The features of the application of concession, PPP, MPP agreements and offset contracts will be studied in detail.
Today the participants of the training program were given a farewell message by the head of the Tatarstan Agency for Investment Development, Taliya Minullina:
“In the area of public-private partnerships, we lack a public initiative that would ensure competent social planning; in the end, it turns out that we only do what the investor proposes. And we ourselves must identify relevant areas, package projects and structure them.
Entrepreneurs are people with the help of whom we can solve problems at the state level. They are our allies in achieving our goals for socio-economic planning, their competence must be used! I would really like to see, based on the results of practical training, projects of public initiative that can be offered to investors.”
