PPP Week in Moscow
The Investment Development Agency takes an active part in the X Infrastructure Congress "Russian PPP Week". This is the largest event in Russia and the CIS dedicated to attracting investment in infrastructure development.
Talia Minullina acted as an expert in the discussion on the topic “Investor as a client of the region: new standards of partnership.” The keynote of the discussion was the implementation of a regional investment standard, tools for attracting and retaining investors and issues of digital transformation.
The Russian regions of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Bashkiria, Moscow, Leningrad, and Amur regions shared their experience.
The head of the Tatarstan Agency for Investment Development, Talia Minullina, as noted by moderator Maxim Tkachenko (national PPP center), turned the very formulation of the discussion topic upside down. She said:
“I think that an investor is not a client, but a partner. In Tatarstan, we take a position equal to that of an investor, and I believe that this approach determines the success of the republic. We have had an Investors Club for a long time, which has not yet been introduced into the elements Reginveststandard, and this is exactly the format that allows investors to share both their problems and ideas. Thanks to this interaction, we achieve a high level of reinvestment - about 65%. I believe that the moment will come when an investor will receive an SMS with a specific proposal for a new project upon reaching a certain level of profitability from the previous one.”
