Saria opens its fiftieth plant in the world in the SEZ "Alabuga"

Launching ceremony of the German plant was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Saria holding founder Norbert Rethmann, "Saria Bio-Industries Volga" CEO Manfred Gellner.

Plant of animal protein production "Saria Bio-Industries Volga" is the first factory of German concern in Russia. It was founded on the SEZ "Alabuga" in 2011.

The new plant will process animal raw materials for the purpose of disposal and receiving two key products - feed meal and technical and feed animal grease. Up to 1000 km radius of collecting materials is intended to cover almost the entire territory of the Volga Federal District. 115 thousand tons of raw materials will produce 11.5 million tons of animal grease and 28.7 thousand tons of meat-and-bone meal per year.

“I believe that this is an important event for the republic, thanks to the enterprise, we can radically change the attitude towards disposal of animal waste products, - said Rustam Minnikhanov. - We got the technologies, enterprise, jobs”.

Investment in the plant composes 38 million euros, today in the production involved more than 150 people.
