At the "Kastamonu Integrated" platform begins first wood supplying

The first wood delivery to the "Kastamonu Integrated” plant made a specially created for this purpose "Forest transport company".

"After launching of the plant in the special economic zone" Alabuga " Tatarstan, Udmurtia, and the Kirov region will have their way of processing a low-grade softwood timber”, - noted the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Magdeyev.

The total demand of the plant will be up to 840,000 cubic meters of timber in 2013 and will increase to 1.1 million cubic meters of timber in 2015.

The implementation of such a large investment project in the SEZ "Alabuga" demanded a renewal equipment. The Ministry had purchased a high-performance logging equipment of "Komatsu" company - 8 harvesters and 8 forwarders. "Forest transport company" will provide transportation on the basis of twenty short log trucks retrofitted to the "KAMAZ" cars.
