Business visit of the Ambassador of Venezuela
Today, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Salazar Velazquez Jesus Rafael, visited the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan on a business visit. First, the guest got acquainted with the investment potential of Tatarstan at the Agency’s Unified Presentation Center.
“It’s impressive that Tatarstan’s GDP is higher than the GDP of 107 countries in the world. And it’s impressive that despite the fact that there is no sea here, but there is the Volga, the construction of ships is also being developed” - Ambassador of Venezuela.
Afterwards, the delegation met with the head of the TIDA, Talia Minullina.
“You come up with ideas like an automatic machine. I have never met such girls in Russia before. It’s clear how you stand up for your cause” - Salazar Velasquez Jesus Rafael.
During the meeting, the Ambassador responded by presenting to Talia Ilgizovna the work of the Investment Agency of Venezuela, and also spoke about some legal issues in the legislation of the republic that can guarantee the safety of investments in their state, for example, legislation on the safety of investments/investments, guarantees from Venezuela. The head of the Agency, in turn, informed the guest about the activities of the Russian and global association of investment agencies, the advantages and problems of their activities.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed hope for the development of cooperation between the republics and shared that at the beginning of 2000, Venezuela had an agreement with KAMAZ, the company produced trucks in the state and, according to the guest, also worked on creating a bus plant.
