Tatarstan delegation takes part in a Sochi-2013 forum

This morning the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the traditional business breakfast in the international investment forum "Sochi-2013".

September 26 a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came to Sochi. The delegation includes Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Assistant to the President of Tatarstan on Economic Affairs Ayrat Khayrullin, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, General Director of JSC "Tatneft" Shafagat Takhautdinov, Rector KNRTU-KAI Albert Gilmutdinov.

This morning, the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2013" opened with the traditional business breakfast organized by Sberbank of Russia, where Rustam Minnikhanov also performed. President of Sberbank German Gref, commenting the President’s speech, said that "Tatarstan has a unique experience in managing mega-projects and managerial capacity of the republic should be used in all other mega-projects."

First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov in his speech noted: "Tatarstan - is a non-stop mega-project. They have great projects all the time, and each of these projects is a new quality of life for people." Igor Shuvalov also underscored that the President of Tatarstan is actively involved in implementation of projects.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov in addition to the business breakfast and the plenary session today will take part in the round table "The opportunities to attract foreign investment in countries with difficult investment climate." There will be discussed the effectiveness of the federal level measures in attracting foreign investment.

On one of the discussion "Federal and regional development institutions: do the regions have any effect?" will perform TIDA Chief Executive Linar Yakupov. There will be discussed the regional development institutions: the approaches to organizational and legal form, structure, functionality, the key competencies of a regional management teams, cooperation between the federal and regional development institutions.
