At forum "Sochi-2013" has discussed the using of standards of "green" construction and principles of smart city management.
Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov took part in a round table "Enhancing the quality of life: environmental projects and green technology."
September 26-29 in Sochi was held an International Investment Forum "Sochi-2013", which was attended by a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The forum studied the increasing of investment attractiveness of innovative projects and their implementation.
Forum held a variety of sessions and round tables, one of which was devoted to the problems of environmental pollution.
At the round table "Enhancing the quality of life: environmental projects and green technology" performed Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov, President of Avelar Energy Group (Switzerland) Igor Ahmerov, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Rinat Gizatulin, Global Director of sustainable development, Olympic Operations unit of The Dow Chemical Nicoletta Pikkolrovatstsi, Chairman of the European business Association on real estate, a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle Board of Directors, Operations Director for Russia and CIS Christoph Vichich, Director of "Center of green standards" Rashid Ismailov.
Participants discussed the creation of solar energy in Russia, functional environmental ratings and indices as a tool to improve the quality of the environment. They have also reviewed the need of creation the regional production centers of green technologies.
Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov noted the practical side of the projects implementation using green building standards, in particular the Kazan Smart City project. He said about the interest of foreign investors in the implementation of green projects, as these projects have a long-term investment attraction. For example, during the first year to the Kazan Smart City expressed interest the Singapore and Malaysian companies, investment groups from the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
During his speech, Bulat Gayanov underscored the role of investment in promoting green building standards and the principles of city intelligent control.
Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO said that Kazan Smart City may become the Russian experimental platform of integrated and sustainable development, which use the green building standards and the principles of city intelligent control.
