On October 2 to open KazanSummit 2013

Tomorrow, at the International Informational Centre will start the fifth International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013).

KazanSummit 2013 - is a unique platform of economic cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Every year, the International Economic Summit gathers representatives of international organizations, domestic and foreign financial institutions, foreign diplomatic missions, investors and businessmen.

This year is expected to involve 230 foreign delegates and around 350 representatives of Russian regions. Among the foreign participants are the official delegations from 35 countries: the ambassadors of the State of Qatar, Malaysia, Pakistan, Palestine, Senegal, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and investment companies in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, the largest international holdings, group companies.

On the first day of the International Economic Summit will be a series of parallel sessions. Participants will discuss trade cooperation between Russia and the OIC countries and the latest trends in the market of Islamic finance.
Traditionally, a number of events of the summit will focus on the investment theme – at the investment forum international companies will share with their experience in implementing projects in Tatarstan.

 A separate forum will be dedicated to the global trend of the "smart" cities projects, in particular, the presentation of a new investment platform of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Kazan Smart City.

In the afternoon, will be a discussion on a role of HR services in the development of human capital. In addition, in the summit will be held a forum for the media, where media executives will discuss the role of the press in the country's investment attractiveness.
The first day of the International Summit will end by a gala dinner hosted by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the KazanSummit Cup.

The second day starts with KazanSummit 2013 legislative session. At the strategic forum "Practical steps to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Russia and OIC countries" will perform President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Ilyas Umahanov. The final event of the summit second day – is the international exhibition of Euro-Asia Expo.
