Schneider Electric to participate in the creation of Kazan Smart City
A world expert in energy management - Schneider Electric and Tatarstan Development Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
According to the document, the parties will cooperate in the implementation of the Kazan Smart City project that will provide a comfortable environment for the development of service industry, business, education, and high-tech manufacturing.
The signing ceremony was held during the Strategic Forum of the V International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013). The agreement was signed by Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov and Schneider Electric "The projects through partners" Vice-president Oleg Goncharov.

In Tatarstan Schneider Electric is going to participate in the design and construction of the Smart City control center as well as the implementation of engineering and transport network management systems. In particular, will be used the intelligent networks (Smart Grids) and Smart Mobility Traffic – for traffic management.
