On April 12, the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, on the basis of the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of KFU, held a one-day educational seminar for state and municipal employees in the Republic of Tatarstan on attracting investments. The event is organized annually to improve the skills of the investment team of Tatarstan.

Throughout the day, Agency employees spoke about investment activities in the republic, the regional investment standard, international events of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, public-private partnerships and the stages of implementation of the investment project.

“The project should be carried out locally by specialized specialists,” - Elina Zhiganova, head of the public-private partnership development department of the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, on the use of public-private partnership mechanisms to increase the competitiveness of the region.

Deputy Head of the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan Marina Epifantseva completed the Agency’s block on mechanisms for attracting investors in development agencies.

The experience of the Zelenodolsk region was presented as the best practice. “Investors believed in us,” Anastasia Bauer, deputy head of the Executive Committee of the Zelenodolsk region, the leader in investment activity in Tatarstan, shared her experience of working with investors and her best practices regarding the development of investment infrastructure.
