A 1.3 km long bridge is being built on the bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny as part of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads". Its readiness reaches 85%.
The bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny is a new direction with a length of 81 km. Within the framework of the project, the construction of 10 bridges, 5 interchanges, 11 overpasses and 5 multi-level intersections is being completed.
The bridge connecting the banks of the Kama will stand on 22 supports, of which 15 supports are the overpass part and 7 are the channel part. The construction of the supports on this section is almost complete. The channel supports are 95% ready, the overpass ones are 80%.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that transport infrastructure is the basis for development and the prospects of the country's economy. The construction of the bypass of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny with a bridge across the Kama is an important strategic project of federal scale. "These are two major industrial centers of our country. Previously, there were problems with logistics, with access to factories. Now all these issues have been resolved... The work is being carried out almost a year ahead of schedule. We will launch traffic this year," said the Rais of the Republic.
Taliya Minullina on construction: "The more the transport infrastructure develops, the more investment there will be, because it affects the economic model of investment projects."
