In "Ford Sollers Elabuga" starts the production of Ford Kuga

Today auto brand factory in Tatarstan held a ceremony, dedicated to the starting of Ford Kuga, which will be produced on a full cycle technology.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Ford Sollers President Ted Kannis, Ford Sollers joint venture Executive Director Adil Shirinov, General Director of JSC "Sollers" Vadim Shvetsov, as well as a special guest - the Chairman of the Ford Board of Directors William Clay Ford.

“This is one of the most important events in the history of Ford Sollers, we are very encouraged by the fact that Russia is going to produce this beautiful car”, - said the Ford Sollers President Ted Kannis.

The great-grandson of Henry Ford, William, thanked all the audience, as well as separately all employees of the factory.

William Ford underscored that «Ford» - is a family company. As a family company we are looking at all our relationships on a long term basis”, - added the great-grandson of Henry Ford.

Then were presented video of the auto production, after which the guests signed their names on a capote of a new car. The ceremony finished with a joint photo session of participants.
