The workshop on Islamic (partner) financing in Tatarstan will be held again in Kazan
On September 30, 2024, the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan is once again holding "Workshop on Islamic (Partner) financing products". The event will take place on September 30 at 10:00 at the Agency at the address: Kazan, Agronomicheskaya st., 11.

The first workshop demonstrated a high interest in this topic and identified a number of issues that require joint discussion and resolution. We invite experts and market participants from various regions of Russia to join us to share their experiences and discuss the current problems faced by this industry. During the workshop, experts and market players from 4 regions of the Russian Federation — the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Dagestan and the Chechen Republic — will discuss the interim results of the experiment on the introduction of Islamic banking, which started on September 1, 2023. The participants of the event will share their experience, identify current problems and challenges faced by the industry, as well as present prospects for its further development.
The first workshop, held on November 15, 2023, demonstrated a high interest in the topic of Islamic finance and revealed a number of difficulties that need to be solved for the successful implementation of this experiment. This year, the main focus will be on the topic of Islamic (partner) financing products, in which practitioners are invited to discuss the popularity of existing products, as well as the prospects for the introduction of new ones. It is also planned to consider issues of legislative regulation in this area.
The round table will be an ideal platform for discussing new realities and finding solutions together with market participants. We offer to contribute to the development of Islamic (partner) financing in Russia!
