The forum is aimed to identify key areas for the development of Russia's investment policy, to present business conditions in the different sectors of the economy, as well as demonstrate the investment potential of Moscow and Russian regions for foreign investors.
Today, the capital of the Russian Federation opened the Second International Foreign Investment Forum, which will be held in Moscow on October 23-24. It is organized by the Government of Moscow.
At conferences and round-table participants will discuss the issues of increasing the flow of foreign investments in the Russian capital and protecting the interests of investors. The event will gather over two thousand delegates from around the world.
Among the forum’s speakers - Regional Development Minister Igor Slyunyaev, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinskiy, the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin and others. From Tatarstan the forum was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, TIDA Head of investment promotion Wyatt Ford and authorized representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation.
The Forum will include plenary sessions and conferences on the topics: "The investment climate of Russia: government policy and the results of its implementation", "Moscow as a window into Russia and international financial center", round table "Investing in the development of urban areas", "Law Enforcement and Protection the interests of investors in Russia", "Politics of Russian regions in attracting investment".
