The final meeting of the RT Investors Club in 2024 will be held tomorrow in Kazan
On December 17, Kazan will host the final meeting of the Tatarstan Investors Club in 2024
It is organized by the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The event will be held at the TASIGO Kazan Palace Hotel.
For 10 years, investors and entrepreneurs of Tatarstan have gathered to summarize the outgoing year, discuss current issues and formulate plans for the next year. As part of the event, participants will present their ideas and concepts for the development of investment projects, as well as discuss ways to improve the business climate in the republic.
The program includes a ceremonial awarding of the finalists of the Investor of the Year competition in three nominations:
1. "Best municipality of the Republic of Tatarstan for investment activities."
2. "Best media outlet for covering the investment sector in the Republic of Tatarstan."
3. "Investor of the Year in the Republic of Tatarstan."
The agenda of the meeting also includes investor speeches and an expert discussion with the keynote speaker — Doctor of Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), an outstanding global economist from Shanghai, Mr. Andy Xia.
Today he visited the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan: he got acquainted with the investment potential of the republic in the Unified Presentation Center and met with the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina.
Andy Xia has deep knowledge of the economy of China and Asia, previously he held the position of chief economist for the Asia-Pacific region at Morgan Stanley, where he earned a reputation for accurately predicting a number of economic crises, including the Asian financial crisis and the subprime mortgage crisis in the USA.
He is currently the director of Rosetta Stone Advisors and China Boqi Environmental Science and Technology, and a guest columnist for the South China Morning Post and Bloomberg.
