In 2025, the most popular schemes among scammers will be obtaining data by deception to steal an account on "Gosuslugi", messages in messengers under the guise of a manager, and fake calls from departments. This was stated in an interview with "RIA News" by Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.
"We see the risk of more active use of AI technologies for deception, unfortunately, artificial intelligence makes fakes more and more believable," he added.
Thus, employees of the RT AIR received a phishing mailing allegedly from Gosuslugi ("Gosuslugi" is the name of the sender of the letter) to their work email with a notification of a fine for violating traffic rules and a link to pay it with a discount.
"You have been sent a notification of a violation recorded by a camera. Find out the details and pay the fine through Gosuslugi.
Pay the fine with a discount and get a bonus of 1,500 rubles. You can pay the fine using the LINK" - the text of the letter read.

Kuznetsov noted that the fraudsters are refining their schemes. In particular, they began to ask their victims more often to withdraw cash and hand it over to couriers in order to avoid blocking online transfers.
We remind you that in 2024, telephone and Internet fraudsters stole from Russians an amount comparable to the annual budget of a large Russian region. Over 11 months, it exceeded 168 billion rubles, TASS reports, citing data from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Sber analysts predict that the total damage from fraudsters' actions in 2024 will amount to 250 billion rubles.
