The delegations of the French region of Provence - Alpes - Cote d'Azur, headed by the First Vice-President Patrick Allman visited Tatarstan. They explored investment opportunities of Tatarstan Republic and investment platform Kazan Smart City.
The presentation took place in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The meeting was attended by TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin, TIDA Head of investment promotion Wyatt Ford, First vice -president for International Affairs of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur Regional Council Patrick Allman, Pole "Pegasus" Director of International Affairs Jean-François Boisson, Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the French Republic Iskander Yusupov and others.
It was noted that the purpose of the delegation’s visit to Tatarstan is to introduce with trade-economic, industrial and investment potential of the region, to study issues of cooperation with enterprises of the republic in the field of innovation, aerospace and IT technologies.
During the visit, representatives of the French region will also meet with the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of the Tatarstsan Ministry of Information and Communication, Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and Kazan State Technological University.
On 31 October in the forum "Open Innovation” in Moscow, was a meeting of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with the President of the Regional Council of France Provence - Alpes - Cote d'Azur Michel Vauzelles. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of economy Midhat Shagiakhmetov, Assistant to the Tatarstan President on Economic Affairs Ayrat Khayrullin and Executive Director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) Ivan Bortnik.
