Today, a large delegation from Kazakhstan headed by Akim of Atyrau Region Serik Shapkenov learned everything about the republic – innovations, products, industry, education and investments – at the Unified Presentation Center of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Agency. Head of the TIDA Taliya Minullina spoke about the opportunities that exist for strengthening mutual trade relations, localizing production and exchanging technologies. The guests were also invited to KazanForum in May.
Serik Shapkenov: “For many years, we were a raw oil and gas region. Now we are reorienting ourselves to the manufacturing industry and mechanical engineering. We have built a tire plant, we will implement a rubber production plant with Tatneft, and we are jointly exploring oil and gas fields. We have created a special economic zone and are working in the petrochemical industry, where we also want to adopt the experience of Tatarstan, knowing that you have not only oil production, but also mechanical engineering. We need to further develop our enterprises, and we have a lot in common with Tatarstan.”
The program of the delegation’s visit includes a visit to enterprises in Tatarstan, the city of Innopolis, and a meeting with the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
