Tatarstan and Buryatia develop bilateral cooperation

Today, the delegation of Buryatia visited Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, where met with TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin and Tatarstan Export Corporation First Deputy CEO Aidar Abdrahmanov.

Delegation of the Republic of Buryatia is in a three-day visit to Tatarstan, which will last until 12 November, 2013. In Kazan international airport guests introduced with new terminal 1A and got acquainted with the work of intermodal transport.

At a meeting in TIDA representatives of the Republic of Buryatia acquainted with the investment potential of Tatarstan and its experience in the promotion of the republic in the world. There also was presented the main tasks and objectives of Agency, its activities, as well as Kazan Smart City project. During the meeting they discussed the cooperation with investors and the most successful foreign companies operating in the republic. Tatarstan Export Corporation First Deputy CEO Aidar Abdrahmanov told about the export activities of Tatarstan.

In addition to this meeting the official delegation of the Republic of Buryatia also visited the IT Park, Kazan Federal University, took part in a business forum and toured the Palace of water sports and a new football stadium "Kazan -Arena". Guests also visited the production facilities of JSC "Kazan Helicopter Plant", technopolis "Himgrad ", Agro-Industrial Park and other enterprises of the republic.

The result of the working visit of the delegation of the Republic of Buryatia – is the signing of the Agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan and Buryatia on trade, economic, scientific, technical and socio-cultural cooperation. The signing took place at a meeting of the delegation with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The document was signed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Buryatia - Prime Minister of the Republic of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitcin.
