There is one month left before the start of the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum", and the final stage of preparation for the event is underway. Today, Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a presentation on the topic "On the preparation of the business program and organization of exhibition activities within the framework of the XVI International Economic Forum: "Russia - the Islamic world: KazanForum" at the meeting of the organizing committee of the forum in Moscow. 

Taliya Minullina: "To date, representatives of 74 countries and 61 regions of Russia have confirmed their participation. The theme of this year's plenary session is "Digitalization: a new reality and additional opportunities for expanding cooperation." More than 130 events will be held within the framework of KazanForum. The business program of the forum is organized in 20 areas: 129 sessions. For example, for the second time, the international real estate exhibition and conference "International Property Market" (IPM) will be held, within the framework of which the Malaysian urban forum dedicated to Islamic architecture and urban planning will be held. It is also planned to hold a congress of Ministers of Culture of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries during the forum. This event is timed to coincide with Kazan receiving the status of the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World in 2026. Among other things, 41 agreements are scheduled to be signed at the forum." 

Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the forum's organizing committee, recalled at a meeting of the organizing committee that in 2025, the forum would be held at the federal level for the third time by decision of President Vladimir Putin. "The Forum is intended to play a key role in expanding and strengthening the strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Muslim world," he said.
