The Canadian delegation visits the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a meeting with representatives of the Canadian province of Quebec.
The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Head of Investment Promotion Wyatt Ford and representatives of the Quebec Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export.

At the meeting were presented the investment opportunities of Tatarstan and investment platform - Kazan Smart City. The delegation of the Canadian province also acquainted with the industrial sites and industrial parks of the republic.
It was noted that the purpose of the delegation's visit to Tatarstan is to introduce with the trade-economic, industrial and investment potential of the region, in particular, visitors interested in the possibilities of the republic in the field of aerospace and mechanical engineering.

During the meeting the parties discussed the experience of companies that have invested in the Republic of Tatarstan and opened on this territory its production. Among them were noted such companies as Ford Sollers, Rockwool, Siemens and others. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency representatives also told about the beginning of the construction of the 3M international company’s plant, the groundbreaking ceremony of which was held on 13 November at the SEZ "Alabuga".
Following the meeting, both sides expressed interest in further cooperation and agreed to exchange information for exploring the possibilities of cooperation.
