Investment attractiveness of Yelabuga: "Emerald Coast", port and cluster development center

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency visited local government in Yelabuga region.

The delegation headed by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov visited Yelabuga on November 22. The working program of the visit included a meeting with the district administration, local government and business representatives, acquaintance with Yelabuga investment projects and visiting production sites, working in the DIP "Alabuga" (Directorate of investment programs in the industrial area "Alabuga"). Tatarstan Investment Development Agency according to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan has the functions and powers of the DIP "Alabuga" founder.

Investment projects of Yelabuga region presented Yelabuga Acting head Zulfiya Sungatullina. It was noted that one of the priority directions of development is tourism - Yelabuga annually has over 100 thousand tourists. So, in the territories of Nizhnekamsk, Mamadish, Yelabuga, Chistopol and Rybnoslobodskoy region will be located intermunicipal project "Kama glade" Tourist and Health Park”.  From 103 hectares of the total area 3.7 hectares (3.5%) are located within the borders of the Alabuga region.

Zulfiya Sungatullina noted that in the Svinogorie (Yelabuga region) village will be build a tourist complex. Also is planned reconstruction of existing and construction of new roads.

Key projects of Yelabuga region - the creation of tourist and recreational park "Emerald Coast" and the center of the cluster development "Technopark "Elabuga ". Both projects, according to Zulfiya Sungatullina, will be implemented on public-private partnership.

Implementation of the «Emerald Coast " will strengthen the shoreline, will be constructed passenger river port, wharf, improvement of Kama and Toima river banks, public beach, as well as the creation of the boatyard, yacht club, fishing and hunting camps .
Representatives of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency also visited the "Ammonium” site.  In the future, the area, where is located a special dock for receiving goods to one of the most ambitious construction projects in Tatarstan, can become a fully functioning cargo port.

"Technopark "Elabuga" project involves the construction of production facilities and business center with production and demonstration sites, research, service and infrastructure modules. One of the elements of the Technopark is a municipal industrial site "Growth" based on public-private partnership. During the visit to the territory of "Growth" representatives of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency got acquainted with the plan of creation an investment platform for small and medium-sized businesses worked on the production of automotive components. At this moment on the territory of the site operates LLC "Timer”, LLC “Acoma” and LLC "Qualitet".

Accompanied by Director of DIP "Alabuga" TIDA representatives toured the investment sites of the Directorate of investment programs’ territory. During the tour sides discussed areas of work, aspects of attracting new residents and preparation of investment programs directorate’s new charter.
