On 26 of November Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held meetings of Belgian “Hygiene Technologies” President Bart Van Mulderen and representatives of ministries and departments, as well as a number of Tatarstan companies.
The delegation Hygiene Technologies also included representatives of the VGP group of companies (Czech Republic) - developer of logistics centers and industrial parks in Central and Eastern Europe.
At the meetings discussed the building of a plant for the production of sanitary products in the SEZ "Alabuga": the resident status of special economic zone Hygiene Technologies got in March current year. Investment in the project is 1 billion rubles.
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency has been worked in attracting the Belgian company in Tatarstan since 2012. In September last year, was organized a company’s visit to Tatarstan where “Hygiene Technologies” met with the leadership of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the SEZ "Alabuga". At the end of September 2012 the company's decision to place a new plant for the production of sanitary products in the industrial area of the SEZ "Alabuga" was fixed in protocol, which was signed by Hygiene Technologies and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. The document was signed by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and company’s President Bart Van Mulderen.
In November current year Bart Van Mulderen discussed the plant construction issues with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
As part of the meeting in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency with TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin made a VGP presentation and discussed the possibility of its participation in the construction of logistics centers and industrial parks in the region. The meeting was also attended by TIDA Head of Investment Promotion Wyatt Ford, TIDA Head of support and monitoring of investment projects Arthur Nigmatulin, Head of Drozhzhanovsky district Alexander Shadrikov, representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan, SEZ "Alabuga", FSUE "Russian Post" and "Kazan" International airport.
To the VGP representatives were presented Tatarstan automotive cluster and working experience of such companies as Ford Sollers, Mercedes-Benz, and KAMAZ. Guests also studied investment areas of the republic: the SEZ "Alabuga", KIP "Master”, "Chistopol" and Industrial Park "Development". Alexander Shadrikov told about the benefits of Drozhzhanovsky district and presented the project of logistics center construction.
