Today, on the eve of the meeting of the State Council of Tatarstan on the budget for 2026, the head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Taliya Minullina, addressed the deputies of the United Russia faction with a report on the work to increase the investment attractiveness of the republic.
She spoke about the department's comprehensive work to optimize investment project support processes, including Tatarstan's KIT investment control system, simplification of interdepartmental coordination procedures, and monitoring of project implementation.
The Municipal Investment Hour project has gained momentum, in its continuation, the Agency this year released catalog of investment proposals, and also a series of videos about the investment potential of each district of Tatarstan. The success of the project is evidenced by the fact that other Russian regions have followed the example.
Taliya Minullina, as the head of the only department responsible not for budget spending, but for attracting extra-budgetary funds to the republic's economy, noted that private investment continues to grow, averaging 10% per year, and reinvestment is actively underway.
In her report, Taliya Minullina paid special attention to promoting Tatarstan's investment brand in Russia and the world, participating in foreign business events, and organizing international forums. On July 23, 2025, the 2nd voluntary review of Tatarstan on the progress of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals was presented, and the first English-language documentary about it was shot.
The Agency also constantly monitors investment legislation and works to promote legislative initiatives. Each deputy received a fresh review for review.
Members of the United Russia faction asked questions about Islamic finance products, attracting investors, and their vision for further investment work.
Taliya Minullina noted in this regard the need to move towards creating "a comprehensive ecosystem for attracting investments, and not just a list of separate disparate measures."
