On the eve of the Kazanforum, the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, met with the heads of chambers of commerce and industry of foreign countries. The meeting was attended by Sergey Katyrin, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Shamil Ageev, Chairman of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The development of international business cooperation, investment opportunities of Tatarstan and strengthening ties with the countries of the Islamic world were discussed.
Representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and the Council of Businesswomen at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce made a presentation of their Chambers of Commerce and industry and outlined promising areas for the development of cooperation.
The role of KAZANFORUM as a key platform for investments and business contacts was emphasized separately.
