The Agency's work at the X Chinese-Russian EXPO in Harbin
Yesterday, the X China-Russia EXPO in Harbin (May 17-21) ended, which was attended by Maria Krivenkova, Deputy Head of the Agency, as part of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
1. The investment potential of the republic was presented at a high level not only within the framework of the stand of the region, but also at the Russian-Chinese Conference on Trade and Economic Cooperation organized within the framework of EXPO, during which Maria Krivenkova reported on the main economic indicators of the republic affecting its investment attractiveness, as well as the principle of "one windows" in working with investors.
2. Together with Evgeny Gorshkov, the Trade Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in China, negotiations were held with Chengtong International Corporation, during which the proposals previously voiced by the Chinese side on the placement of a project to create a production, warehouse, and exhibition complex in the Republic of Tatarstan were confirmed.
3. Negotiations were held with new potential investors interested in localizing the production of steel pipes, metal products, and petrochemical products in our region.
4. The clock has been checked within the framework of existing cooperation agreements with the Chinese Investment Support Center, which provides consulting assistance to Chinese companies interested in entering the Tatarstan market. Negotiations were also held with other companies providing similar legal services to Chinese companies in China.
5. The ROSTKI International Economic Forum has once again received comprehensive coverage (media interviews, the work of a stand with a recognizable brand of the forum, mention during speeches at the conference and negotiations), which is so important for its further development and scaling.
The participation of the Association "Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan", headed by Sergey Mayorov, Chairman of the Management Board, in the booth and EXPO events was also of great importance. The presence and active position of the Republic of Tatarstan at such exhibitions and conferences are extremely important for the development of bilateral economic relations and attracting investments to the region.
