Delegation of Altai region visits Kazan

Within two days to the representatives of Altai Main Department of Economy and Investment and CAU «Altai Public-private partnership and investments» was presented the republic’s investment experience, issues of interaction between government and business, as well as investment projects and industrial sites of the region.

In Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) delegation met with TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin, heads of investment projects monitoring and support, development of public-private partnership (PPP) departments, as well as Tatarstan Development Corporation Deputy CEO Jawdat Akhmanov.

At the meeting discussed investors attracting, a large-scale “Invest in Tatarstan” PR-campaign, republic’s industrial estates and special economic zones, as well as cooperation with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). The parties also discussed the «one window» principle, the standard of executive authorities and iPMS (Investment Project Monitoring System).

Altai region delegation acquainted with eight priority areas of Tatarstan: chemical and petrochemical industries, engineering and production of automotive components, construction, building materials and furniture; agricultural products processing; IT-technology and telecommunications; medicine and pharmaceuticals; halal industry; service sector and tourism.

Jawdat Akhmanov told the guests about Kazan Smart City project and stages of its development.
