The continuity of the family business and investments in the sustainable development of the region were discussed in Bugulma
Bugulma, July 14th. — Today, the Cultural Center "Youth Palace" hosted a round table "Sustainable development through continuity and investment", organized by the Committee for the Development of Family Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event has become an open dialogue platform for entrepreneurs, government officials and development institutions.
Maria Krivenkova, Deputy Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the round table. In her welcoming speech, she stressed that such meetings play a key role in the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda. In Tatarstan, this process has moved to a new stage of end—to-end localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), when global priorities are integrated into day-to-day management at all levels - corporate, municipal and even family. Maria Krivenkova emphasized that Bugulminsky district is consciously involved in this agenda, which indicates the municipality's high involvement in long-term development strategies.
As part of the business part of the event, participants were presented with the investment potential of the republic, existing measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as opportunities for family business development using the mechanism of public-private partnership. The experts discussed financial and legal aspects of succession in family companies, issues of balance between running a business and family values, and shared their practical experience.
In addition to a rich business program, guided tours were organized for the guests of the event, timed to coincide with the round table. So, on July 13, a trip to the places of Tatarstan's oil history took place with a visit to the Tatneft laboratory and core storage facility, as well as the open-air oil museum in Shugurovo. After completing the main program, on July 14, participants were able to visit enterprises of the Bugulma district, and on July 15, an ethnographic trip to the village of Spasskoye is planned to get acquainted with the traditions of the Kurchan subethnos.
The organizers noted that the event aroused great interest among active entrepreneurs, heads of family companies and business dynasties, representatives of local governments and business media, bringing together experts from different regions of Russia.
