Regional events on promoting the development of the global Islamic financial sector, which is also scheduled to hold in Dakar (Senegal) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), precede the main event of the year - a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Development Bank, scheduled for June 25-26.
Event, which opened today in the capital of Kazakhstan, was attended by representatives of 12 member countries of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov visits forum by the invitation of the Islamic Development Bank President Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali.
By the information of the official IDB website during the forum will be discussed the work of the bank for the past four decades, future challenges, global and regional priorities and IDB development strategy for the next 10 years.
The event will include holding of the round tables on promoting the global Islamic financial sector and the development of Muslim communities in countries that are not members of the IDB Group. The forum "Promoting of the global Islamic financial sector development" will be held on January 15. The participation confirmed, in particular, Kazakhstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Aset Issekeshev.
