A group of Italian companies PGB Group names the priority areas of cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan
Meeting with the Director of PGB Group Pier Giorgio Bassi was held on the eve in the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation.
In discussing of further cooperation between Italy and Tatarstan participated Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, representatives of the Situational Information and Analytical center Sergey Parkhomenko and Alexei Panteleyev and a number of Italian companies.
At the meetingRavilAkhmetshingave tothe Italian guests the invitation from the President of Tatarstan RustamMinnikhanov to visit the republic.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, underscoring the interest of the republic in cooperation with Italy, expressed hope that the meeting with representatives of Italian companies in Tatarstan will be held in the near future. Linar Yakupov told the Italian representatives about the Agency’s work, its objectives and the problems facing the Agency. The guests acquainted with economic potential of Tatarstan, its competitive advantages, large industrial enterprises, innovation policy and investment attractiveness of the region.
Representatives of Italian companies expressed their interest in cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan in such areas as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, construction, food, fashion and several other directions.
At the meeting was signed a memorandum of cooperation between Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the PGB Group, representing the interests of Italian companies.
