At the meeting of the Investment Commission study the project of decorative PVC pellicle production

This project will be implemented in the «Tyulyachi» municipal industrial site’s territory.

Under the leadership of Linar Yakupov in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was hold the regular meeting of the Investment Commission, where was presented decorative PVC pellicle production.  It was attended by independent experts, representatives of commercial banks, consulting, leasing, insurance and investment companies, state and municipal authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held with the participation of Head of Tyulyachi region Ildus Zaripov, Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev, Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Ingushetia Yusuf Zurabov, the representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).

The project was initiated by LLC «HimInzhiniring». As company CEO Vadim Efimov noted, the PVC pellicle mostly used in furniture facades, windows and window sills, fabrication of suspended ceilings and doors. In 2013 the consumption of pellicle in Russia amounted to about 52 million square meters or 28 tons.

Polymer pellicle today - is the second most popular in the world after polyethylene polymer. In the CIS countries furniture pellicle production is almost doesn’t exist and the market is completely depends on import. In 2013, import of PVC pellicle for furniture facades in Russia amounted to 51.5 thousand tons. Most of the furniture pellicle is made in China. Total in 2013 in Russia has delivered more than 150 tons of PVC pellicle (furniture, promotional and furnish pellicle, ceilings, electrical tape).

Vadim Efimov told about issues of PVC pellicle production development in Russia, presented the main characteristics of the project and shared with plans for its implementation. «HimInzhiniring» CEO Alexander Domrachev noted that «the project is perspective and has a support».

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive noted that the project is an example that Tatarstan works towards focusing on import substitution, the production of its products. PVC pellicle market has good prospects for the development of the furniture cluster in the region.

«Creating of decorative PVC pellicle production in Tatarstan - it's not just the creation of jobs and the tax base, but also opportunities for attracting new technologies, development, engineering solutions in the republic», - underscored Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive. Linar Yakupov also noted that Tatarstan Investment Development Agency is ready to provide necessary support for the project.

Head of Tyulyachi region Ildous Zaripov told that the municipality prepared municipal industrial site, where can accommodate the production of PVC pellicle. Determined the management company of the industrial site «Tyulyachi», is actively lobbying the interests of project initiators, and provides the support on personnel issues within the project implementation.

Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Ingushetia Yusup Zurabov told the demand for the PVC pellicle production and underscored its readiness to support the project initiators.

«The products has a great export potential, we can offer assistance in entering foreign markets», - commented Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev.

The parties also discussed the financial and operational risks, its development prospects, markets and partnership opportunities with major companies.
