WAIPA – «Invest in Tatarstan» partner

World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) supported II International Winter Forum «Invest in Tatarstan», which will be hold in Kazan.

The forum, which will be hold on March 5-6 at the site of the Kazan Ski Resort, will be attended  by WAIPA Executive Director Carlos Bronzatto. The decision about WAIPA partner status was adopted in the framework of cooperation between World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, which is now WAIPA Director for Eastern Europe.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency entered WAIPA in September 2011, becoming the first Russian region to join the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies. In February 2013 at the meeting of the WAIPA General Assembly in Geneva Tatarstan Investment Development Agency became a member of WAIPA Steering committee and appointed as WAIPA Director for Eastern Europe.

Carlos Bronzatto participated in the First International Winter Forum «Invest in Tatarstan», which took place in December 2012. WAIPA Executive Director performed as a speaker at the panel discussion with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov. In his speech he underscored that the Government of Tatarstan in the face of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency works in two directions to improve the investment climate: attracting investors and initiation of large investment projects. Carlos Bronzatto underscored that such courage and determination necessarily lead to success.
