“Invest in Tatarstan” starts tomorrow

Today in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan hold a briefing on the upcoming II International Winter Forum “Invest in Tatarstan – 2014”.

At the meeting participated Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and Founder-curator of Kazan Global Shapers Community of World Economic Forum Dilbar Sadikova.

Organizer of the forum, which will be held from 5 to 6 March at the site of "Kazan" ski resort, is Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, with the participation of Tatarstan Development Corporation and Tatarstan Export Corporation.
International Winter forum "Invest in Tatarstan" - is a serious tool for attracting investors in Tatarstan. At the forum will be not only the demonstration to the foreign guests investment opportunities in the region, but also the discussion of specific issues.

The two-day forum will be attended by over 450 people. It includes the representatives of 16 foreign countries, particularly Britain, India, Italy, Qatar, China, UAE, USA, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, Syria, Czech Republic, Germany, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as 11 regions of Russia: Moscow, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Leningrad, Sverdlovsk, Ulyanovsk regions, Kamchatka Krai and Republic of Sakha.
The forum will also be attended by the chairman of the largest bank in Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Faisal Al Thani, Executive Director of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) Carlos Bronzatto, “Invest in Russia” Executive Director Yuriy Wojciechowski.

On the first day of the forum are scheduled plenary session and roundtables on various topics: "Local production of automotive components", "Health care", "The real estate market of Kazan", "Service industry and business process outsourcing", "Halal industry". Business program of the first day includes B2B meetings and will end with a dinner, where will take part the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov.

On the second day of “Invest in Tatarstan” will be a meeting of the " Tatarstan Investors Club", as well as the College "About the activities of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency in 2013 and tasks for 2014", which will be held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The college, which will be the final forum event, will summarize the activities of the Agency, Tatarstan Development Corporation and Tatarstan Export Corporation.
Dilbar Sadykova told reporters on the program “Invest in Tatarstan” Youth Ambassadors”, aimed at the formation of a group of young representatives to participate in creating a favorable investment climate in the region, international projects in the investment and business sphere.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum have begun the initiative of involving youth representatives in creating a favorable investment climate in the Republic of Tatarstan, the promotion of investment opportunities in the region.

Program, aimed at the formation of a group of youth representatives to participate in creating a favorable investment climate in the region, international projects in the investment and business fields, also supported by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Academy of Youth Diplomacy.

“Invest in Tatarstan” Youth Ambassadors” – is an opportunity to get an experience of forming a positive image of the country and the region at the international level, to become a direct participant in such major events as the global “Invest in Tatarstan” forum, annual KazanSummit and a number of other activities aimed at the promotion of the republic in the global markets. In March, the young ambassadors will participate in II International Winter Forum “Invest in Tatarstan”, which will be held 5-6 March 2014 at the “Kazan Ski Resort”. Youth Ambassadors will participate in the plenary session of the forum, roundtables and B2B meetings.
Dilbar Sadykova noted that the “Invest in Tatarstan” Youth Ambassadors” program very warmly welcomed by representatives of Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum, noting that it is a very nice and interesting project. In the future, the experience of Tatarstan in this program, according to Dilbar Sadykova, may be transferred into other regions of Russia.
