The Delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan is on a working visit to Canada

Visit of the delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov will last from March 11 to 13.

The delegation includes Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Adel Vafin, Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, Trade and Economic Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the United States Ravil Nigmedzyanov.

The first city to visit will be Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Here is planned the work with Montreal Technopark, where the headquarters and research departments of more than 30 companies are located. At the Technopark site implements the most advanced projects, developed by Quebec and foreign firms. The program also includes a visit to the plants of world's largest producers of business jets, regional aircraft «Bombardier» and American manufacturer of aircraft engines for civil and military aviation «Pratt & Whitney».

Tomorrow Tatarstan delegation’s visit continues in Toronto, where in the office of the Canadian Business Association in Russia and Eurasia will be a presentation of investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan and the meeting with representatives of the Tatar diaspora living in Canada. In Toronto is also scheduled a visit to the MaRS Discovery District research organization and the University of Toronto. Besides, Ildar Khalikov will hold a series of business meetings and negotiations.
