Vladimir Chelomin: «We are interested in the exchange of technologies and building materials with the Republic of Tatarstan»

Minister of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod region Vladimir Chelomin within his working visit to the region took part in the discussion of the interaction between construction enterprises of Tatarstan and the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Roundtable with the participation of Tatarstan representatives of the construction industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the management of Tatarstan Export Corporation, Trade House «Tatarstan - Nizhny Novgorod» was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Ahmetshin.

Vladimir Chelomin in the discussion shared information about the development of the construction industry of Nizhny Novgorod region and implementation of housing investment projects in the region. The Minister told about the projects as building a second bridge across the Volga and the road, as well as the development of the Nizhny Novgorod Metro.

«We are interested in improving relations with your region, - he says. - We hope that during the visit to Tatarstan we would find common ground and continue our dialogue in the form of working groups on specific areas of cooperation». Mr. Chelomin underscored that we don’t need to delay the continuation of the dialogue and better to meet again in May, during the annual forum in Nizhny Novgorod.

Later, in an interview with reporters, Mr. Chelomin confirmed that the construction industry is one of the perspective areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and the Nizhny Novgorod region. He also noted the possibility of cooperation in the exchange of technologies and building materials, also supplying good transport component: now, according to Mr. Chelomin, some sections of the «Kazan - Nizhniy Novgorod» road require major repairs. In continuation of Vladimir Chelomin’s presentation, was noted the interest in the supplying of ceramic blocks.

Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO First Deputy Ildar Abdrahmanov at a roundtable presented activities of the Corporation, the promotion of local players to foreign markets and told about the establishment of the Trading House «Tatarstan - Nizhniy Novgorod».

«We have created a trading house for you, - addressed to the heads of construction industry enterprises Ildar Abdrahmanov. - And we want you to join us!».

For more information about creating, goals and plans of the Trade House «Tatarstan - Nizhniy Novgorod» said its CEO Shamil Mansurov, who also introduced a specific space, where can interact with enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is a project of residential complex «Okskiy Bereg» - an area of 185 hectares, located in two kilometers from Nizhny Novgorod. Mr. Mansurov said that there may take part the construction companies of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan builders today are willing to build ten houses in this residential complex.

Trade and Economic Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Nizhny Novgorod region Ayrat Usmanov, commenting on the creation of the Trading House, called it a region’s «point of presence» in the Nizhny Novgorod region, adding that his appearance – is the an important and demanded process. In the roundtable Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev also discussed the areas of cooperation with the Trading House. There were a number of bilateral meetings and negotiations between the parties too.

Tomorrow the delegation of Nizhny Novgorod region, headed by Vladimir Chelomin visit LLC «Wienerberger Kurkachi» production, stadium «Arena Kazan» and construction of a residential complex in Kazan.
