Tatarstan launches a unique project - TATINDEX regional stock index

The product, which will reflect the dynamics of capitalization of the Tatarstan’s largest issuers, is launched by the business center of the Republic of Tatarstan - Internet portal TatCenter.ru.

The index database - TATINDEX (TAIX) included 6 national companies, whose shares are traded on the MICEX/RTS:

• JSC «Tatneft name of Shashin» (TATN);
  
• JSC «Nizhnekamskneftekhim» (NKNC);
  
• JSC «KAMAZ»;
  
• JSC «Tattelecom» (TTLK);
  
• JSC «Kazanorgsintez» (KZOS);
  
• JSC «Nizhnekamskshina» (NKSH).

Total revenue of the companies on the basis of 2012 reached 767 billion rubles, which is 54% of the total industrial production in Tatarstan. The total capitalization of these companies today is 521 billion rubles.

TATINDEX–is the second in Russia after the regional RTS Siberia (RTSSIB). The calculation of RTS began in May 2010. RTS Siberia consists of 10 companies, including JSC GMK Norilsk Nickel, JSC RusHydro and JSC Gazprom Neft.

TATINDEX will be calculated daily and updated on the portal www.TatCenter.ru in the morning with prices of the exchange closing in the previous day.
