The Annual Investment Meeting 2014 opens in Dubai

The opening ceremony was held today at the «Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre».

In the AIM-2014 participates delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan. The delegation consist of Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Trade and Economic Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the UAE Timur Khairutdinov, JSC «Special Economic Zone «Innopolis» CEO Igor Nosov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce Shamil Ageev.

Tatarstan's participation in the Annual Investment Meeting –is a good opportunity to introduce them, to use all of the options offered by this platform to attract potential investors. The last three years Annual Investment Meeting becomes a platform, where region presents their projects. On the AIM- 2011 at the session, dedicated to the cooperation of the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China), held a presentation of a new state structure of the region - Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

On the AIM-2012 was launched a large-scale image PR-campaign «Invest in Tatarstan», aimed to the promotion of the republic in the world markets for attracting foreign direct investment. On the AIM- 2013 hosted the official launch of Kazan Smart City, which was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheĭh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, under whose patronage annually passes Annual Investment Meeting. Another project of the Republic of Tatarstan – Innopolis was also presented at AIM- 2013.

IV Annual Investment Forum in Dubai (Annual Investment Meeting, AIM) in 2014, according to the organizers, will be the main tool for measuring the huge investment opportunities in foreign and emerging markets, offering a potentially high return of investment in reliable and sustainable sectors.
