Signes a memorandum of cooperation with the Chinese TBEA
The signing ceremony was held yesterday during the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Rustam Minnikhanov to the Urumqi.
During the visit to the factory and TBEA headquarters, which is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of transformers and electric equipment, TBEA Chairman Zhang Sin said to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov about their wish to work in Tatarstan as equipping power facilities and constructing new production in the republic.
To the Tatarstan delegation showed factory of producing a high-voltage transformers, where produces transformers with operating voltage up to 1 million volts. Here is the laboratory for finished products testing - cables and transformers. The plant employs 2,000 people; the total number of TBEA employees is 20,000. The plant is located near the residential quarters for employees, developed social infrastructure with parks and fitness centers.
Mr. Minnikhanov, noting the high level of technological development, the large volumes of production, told about Tatarstan’s industry growth and the region's needs in energy development. TBEA Company could participate in the implementation of projects in this area.
«The quality, price and speed of the project is important for us, - claimed Mr. Minnikhanov. - And we are interested in carefully review of your suggestions».
Memorandum of Cooperation, which was signed in the end of the meeting, provides the creating of a joint working group and the visit to Tatarstan of specialists who will discuss the possible projects with the leadership of Tatarstan enterprises. The document was signed by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and JSC TBEA Chairman Zhang Sin.
