Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the «Dostyk» medal

Presenting the state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the «Dostyk» medal («Friendship» medal) of II degree to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today in the meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Marat Tajin.

The Ambassador told that this award is given for fruitful activity in the mutual consent in the society, contribution to strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples.

«Under your leadership in Tatarstan holds an effective work to maintain inter-religious and inter-ethnic peace, creating favorable conditions for life, and developing the potential of citizens regardless of their ethnicity or religious affiliation», - appealed to the head of the republic Marat Tajin.

Mr. Minnikhanov in response thanked the leaders of Kazakhstan and the President Nursultan Nazarbayev for giving high state award. Mr. Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan and Kazakhstan continue active cooperation in various fields.

 

About medal

«Dostyk» medal («Friendship» medal) – is a state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan (established in 1995). Medal is awarded to citizens for fruitful activity in the mutual consent of the society, contribution to strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples.

The medal has two degrees: «Friendship» medal of I degree consists of a star and a sign to the shoulder belt; «Friendship» medal of II degree consists of a sign on the chest. Rewarding can be made without taking into account the sequence.
