At the EBRD business forum opens «Investment potential of Russian regions» session

In discussions: investment attractiveness of the Russian market, the criteria for selecting the region, as well as the main challenges of attracting foreign and Russian investment in terms of power and investors.

Business forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is a part of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, which is this year holds in Warsaw. In the meeting of the Board of Governors and the «Investment potential of Russian regions» session by the invitation of the EBRD's Russia Managing Director participates Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

In addition to discussions about the investment attractiveness of the Russian market, the criteria for selecting the region, attraction of foreign and Russian investment in terms of power and investors, participants will discuss the priorities of the federal government and the Russian regions to improve the investment climate.

The session will feature questions and effectiveness of mechanisms to attract investors: tax incentives, the «one» window, the development of industrial parks and sites, the creation of regional structures to attract investment. Tatarstan as one of the leaders in investment, will present experience o working with investors, attracting investment practices and success stories of foreign companies, implementing on the territory of the republic their investment projects.
