Memorandum of Cooperation between the «Invest in Russia» and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies

The ceremony was held at the WAIPA International Investment Conference (WAIPA World Investment Conference) in Istanbul.

The memorandum fixes the cooperation between the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, the Russian Investment Agency «Invest in Russia» and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). The document was signed by Minister of Regional Development of Russia Igor Slyunyaev, WAIPA President Ilker Aydzhi, Head of «Invest in Russia» Yuri Spiridonov and WAIPA CEO Carlos Bronzatto.

The memorandum was signed in order to further expand of bilateral cooperation in the field of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, including the field of investment. Ministry of Regional Development of Russia and WAIPA agreed to regular evaluation of the cooperation’s results and to develop proposals for its further development. As required, will be held consultations on cooperation.

The text of the memorandum emphasizes that the development of relations between the Russian Federation and international investment organizations is one of the elements to strengthen the country 's international reputation and increase its attractiveness.
