Rustam Minnikhanov visits China as part of the official delegation of the Russian Federation

Working visit of the Russian delegation headed by Russian President Vladimir Putin will be until May 21, 2014.

Mr. Minnikhanov took part in the negotiations of Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of China Xi Jinping. The sides discussed trade and economic relations between Russia and China, the development of bilateral relations, partnership and strategic interaction. Vladimir Putin said that in 2013 the trade turnover between the two countries increased by almost 2% and approached $ 90 billion.

Russia has also invited Chinese friends in 2015 to become a partner country of a major international industrial exhibition «INNOPROM», which will take place in Yekaterinburg. Russian President underscored that improving the structure of bilateral trade should be focusing on high-technology areas such as civil aviation, space, nuclear energy. He also noted that the Russian-Chinese cooperation became an important factor of international stability.

Following the talks, Russia and China have agreed to closely coordinate their foreign policy moves. As part of the negotiations also signed a series of agreements and contracts. In the presence of Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping Rustam Minnikhanov and governor of Hunan Province Du Tszyahao signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of Hunan Province on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation.
