Mr. Minnikhanov meets with the First Secretary of the Qingdao Party Committee

The sides discussed prospects for development of cooperation between Tatarstan and the Chinese province of Shandong.

The meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan with the first secretary of the Qingdao Party Committee – a member of the Shandong Party Committee Mr. Li Tsyun also attended by Assistant to the President for International Affairs Radik Gimatdinov, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, «Ak Bars Bank» first deputy chairman Zoufar Garayev, SEZ «Alabuga» CEO Timur Shagivaleev.

Li Qun told about the city's economy, noting that one of the largest enterprises of Qingdao is a factory for the production of household appliances - Haier company, also production for the high-speed rail,  developed banking sector. First Secretary announced its readiness to develop cooperation with Tatarstan in different areas.

Tatarstan President, describing his participation in the negotiations of the Russian and Chinese leaders, underscored that the leadership of countries aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and new contacts. Mr. Minnikhanov noted not only great industrial potential of Qingdao province, but also opportunities in tourism. The parties also discussed the implementation of the Haier company’s project in Tatarstan.
