In SPIEF-2014 held a business meeting of a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan with international companies

The Delegation of the region led by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with companies General Electric, IBM, Renaissance Holding, «Summa Group», Air Liquide, «Metro AG».

In a number of negotiations of the head of the republic with representatives of the global business community participated Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

At a meeting with the senior vice president of global sales at IBM Bruno Di Leo Mr. Minnikhanov discussed cooperation in a number of new projects. In particular, they talked about the company to open a global logistics center. Such a center, noted Bruno Di Leo, will be opened in Laishevsky region during 2014. IBM is also invited to consider the possibility of opening a consulting center in Tatarstan that would meet the needs of industrial companies and enterprises.

Options for interaction in various spheres were discussed during the meeting between the President of the Republic of Tatarstan with the «Renaissance» chairman Herman Ilicak. Head of the region underscored that Tatarstan is ready to cooperate with the company, which has a successful experience in the implementation of numerous projects in the field of investment, construction and energy.

Rustam Minnikhanov met with the co-owner and chairman of the «Group Total» Ziyavudin Magomedov. During the meeting discussed issues of participation in the construction of Sviyazhsky multimodal logistics center on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Senior Vice President of Air Liquide Jean-Pierre Dyupriye and Tatarstan President talked about the projects implemented by Air Liquide in Tatarstan. At the moment, said Jean-Pierre Dyupriye, the company is developing another joint project in the region – it implements in the health sector and involves the supply of oxygen in medical institutions and hospitals.

The possibility of expanding its presence in Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov discussed with «Metro AG» CEO Olaf Koch. «Metro AG» leadership announced that it was considering the possibility of increasing presence in the region, including the opening of new stores «Cash and Carry». In turn, Mr. Minnikhanov suggested considering options for opening new stores in cities with high purchasing power, particularly in the oil capital of Tatarstan – Almetyevsk.
