Tatarstan delegation is on a working visit to the Republic of Turkey

The main purpose of the region’s delegation visit, led by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, is participation in Tatarstan-Turkish Business Forum, which will be held on May 30 in the city of Mersin.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan accompany Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on International and Foreign Affairs Radik Gimatdinov, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce Shamil Ageev.

The delegation also included the heads of municipal districts of the republic: Head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region - Mayor of the Nizhnekamsk Aidar Metshin, Head of Aznakaevo municipal region Marseille Shaidullin, head of Tyuliachi municipal region Ildous Zaripov, head of Nurlat municipal region Ravil Kuzyurov.

During his visit to the Republic of Turkey Mr. Minnikhanov will visit organized industrial zone «Khajy Sabancı Adana» (Adana), production facilities of companies «Kastamonu Entegre», «Oguz textile», and hold a number of meetings with representatives of Turkish business. Tatarstan President will also visit the Tarsus city, where he will see the «Aznakayevo» city park, lay flowers at the memorial of great Tatar poet G. Tukay. In addition, planned visit to the decorative glass factory «Shishejam», acquaintance with the activities of Turkish companies «Çukurova Makina» and «Koluman».
