Three days until KazanSummit 2014!

Program of the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2014), which will be held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan from 5 to 6 June, was presented today at a press conference in Tatmedia with the participation of the Kazan Summit Organizing Committee Chairman, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

At a meeting with regional media journalists were presented the main events of the upcoming summit: Strategic Forum, where a key theme is the food security, the Tatarstan-Emirati Business Forum, Tatarstan Investors’ Club meeting, Kazan First Urban Forum, a round table on promoting a brand of the region, the International Trade Forum, direct and B2Bmeetings.

Together with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) at the site of the summit will be a special session on foreign direct investment and best practices to attract investment. Traditionally will be held a consultative meeting of parliamentarians of Russia and OIC countries, as well as a conference on Islamic economics and finance.

Among the honored guests of KazanSummit 2014: UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Saeed Mohammed Al Mansouri; President of the International Association of Business and Investment Ahmed Galal El-Din; World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) Executive Director Carlos Bronzatto; Trade Minister Ahmed Hassan Djibouti; Turkey Minister for EU Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu; Ambassador of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Konstantin Shuvalov; Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Ilya Umahanov; Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia, Indonesia, Cuba, Algeria, Qatar and other.
