The delegation of Honorable country in KazanSummit 2014 – United Arab Emirates – participates in a meeting with the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan

Rustam Minnikhanov and UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed al-Mansouri, who is the head of the delegation to the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries, discussed further mutual cooperation.

The President underscored that the UAE is one of the most perspective countries for cooperation, Tatarstan last four years has been actively involved in the Annual Investment Forum (AIM) in Dubai. Head of state also said that Tatarstan takes the experience of Arab colleagues.

«Relations between Russia and the UAE today are developing dynamically, and our region would take part in it, - noted Mr. Minnikhanov. - Cooperation with the OIC countries is an important task for our region».

During the meeting were presented SEZ «Alabuga» – about the activities of a special zone told Timur Shagivaleev, Kazan Smart City project and SEZ «Innopolis», presentation of which was made by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

Sultan Saeed Mohammed al-Mansoori, in turn, said that the level of development of Tatarstan as the region of Russia today is very high. He also described the current relations between Russia and the United Arab Emirates as the friendly and brotherly. Sultan Al Mansouri said that the UAE is willing to share with Tatarstan experiences in several areas, including the sphere of tourism, increasing the tourist flow. According to him, it is important to cooperate not only during the official events once a year, but to interact in specific areas, as well as business entities.

«My report to the leadership on the visit to Tatarstan will be very detailed, - the minister said. - We can cooperate in education, medicine, and other areas that are developed in the UAE, it is also possible the organization of delegations’ visits with participation of representatives of certain economy sectors. UAE open to cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan».
