Strategic Forum on cooperation agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the X5 Retail Group

Document was signed in the presence of President of the Republic of Tatarstan by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Russia's largest online retailer X5 Retail Group CEO in KazanSummit 2014.

The signing ceremony completed the first part of one of the main activities of the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries - Strategic Forum. Details of further cooperation discussed at the bilateral meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with the delegation of X5 Retail Group.

This, in particular, means the organization of supplies of local products to the stores of X5 Retail Group in the Russian regions. President of the Republic of Tatarstan in the negotiations said that the region is ready to cooperate further with the company. At the meeting it was also stated about the construction of distribution center by X5 Retail Group, which will be located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in Zelenodolsky region.

Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to the leadership of the company to consider increasing the number of outlets in format «close proximity» stores, which is in demand among the population, underscoring that the country is ready to assist in the implementation of joint projects.
