Delegation of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China comes to Tatarstan

The delegation, which includes the representatives of government agencies and the business community, is headed by Government Deputy Chairman Mr. Shi Dagang.

In Tatarstan guests from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) arrived by the invitation of the region’s head: Rustam Minnikhanov visited Xinjiang on a working visit in April this year.

The program of the visit of the official delegation on June 26 includes: visit to the Kazan Federal University, Kazan Kremlin, Kul Sharif Mosque and the Annunciation Cathedral, the Agro-Industrial Park and Kazan State Energetics University, meeting with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The delegation is accompanied by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

Business delegation of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region today held a meeting with businessmen of the region, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan, where was held a round table with the participation of business circles of both parties.

In the afternoon, the delegations met in Kazan IT-Park, where was a presentation of the satellite cities of Kazan - Kazan Smart City and Innopolis, IT-park, industrial sites and projects of the region – SEZ «Alabuga», «Himgrad» technopolis, «Tchistopol» industrial park, «Tyulyachi», State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism, «Europe – Western China» highway, Drozhzhanovsky region of Tatarstan, as well as inspection of the business incubator and familiarity with the work of «GLONASS-112». The meeting of delegation with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is planned to be in the evening.

Tomorrow, Xinjiang official delegation will visit a number of industrial areas of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as meet with the leadership of the largest companies in the region.
